Recently, Siling Military Band has appointed a new Band and Drum Major for next year. They appointed Alfian and Khairi. I am still a little bit unsure about them controlling the band. Both have very different perspective in how to handle the band.
Alfian has these kind of girlish attitude. No offence, but he can be mistaken for a girl. The reason why he became a band major was he is musically incline. He could side read pretty well.
As for Khairi...hmm..I donnoe. He's discipline is good and he always come for band. He side read pretty well too. I guess thats the reason why they chose khairi as a Drum major. One disadvantage is that he is a soft spoken guy. For now I donnoe if this is the right choice but then, its only been like 2 weeks since they were in charge of band.
We'll see how things go.
